Write every Day #11

I love that I'm building the habit of writing every day. So many failed blogs left behind. One of my favorites was a money saving tip blog which actually helped me to book a hosting job I have had for the last 2 years. I guess I can begin to incorporate those types of posts here. What actor doesn't need money saving tips?

In other things, I'm excited about Labor Day. I'll be in a car most of the day, so that's not exciting. But I am really proud to say that I've been working as an actor and a director without any other support job for yet another year. It feels like a good milestone, especially in such a precarious industry.

This year, I have a lot of goals that center around writing. And shooting my own things. It feels like a luxury when I make enough to fund my own projects. I'm excited for what the year will bring.

Also, I had a shift in thinking about my career more like an entrepreneur and less like an actor. So I'll be taking the month to reevaluate what my 'business' looks like, and what direction it should be moving.

Have a happy Labor Day! Such a great idea - celebrating the workforce. I love it.
